Veronica, 88, resident of Elmer passed away at home. She was the daughter of the late Joseph F. and Clara Helget.
She worked as a nurse's clerk for Elmer Hospital for 20 years. Vera was very involved with the 4-H as a leader, served with the election board and was a member of the Ladies Fireman Auxiliary.
She is survived by three sons, Jim and wife Linda of Newfield, Leonard of Vicksburg and Frank of Vineland; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Judith Patterson; two brothers, William and Ted Helget; two sisters, Laura Starn and Sylvia Helget; and a grandson, John Patterson.
