Charles M. Carter
(November 4, 1929 - March 10, 2012)

A service to remember the life of Charles Carter will be 1 pm Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at Jonesboro Cemetery in Jonesboro, LA. Military honors will be given at the committal service to honor his career and the military careers of his brothers and brother-in-law. The family will receive friends from 10 am until 11 am on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home.
Mr. Carter, 82 years of age, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2012 with his family by his side. He retired from the U.S. Navy with 30 years of service. He was the chief hospital corpsman and later a pharmacist during his many years of service. He had a great passion for being a member of the armed services and truly loved serving his country.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Gloria Carter; brother, W.D. Carter; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
