Florence Mendel Armstrong, who was born in New York City and lived in the Yarkville section for many years, died Thursday at Hollywood, Cal., according to word received herg yesterday. Mrs. Armstrong went to California about fifteen years ago with her two daughters, who are now Mrs. Billy Bevan, wife of a motion picture actor, and Mrs. Edith (Robert) Snoke, known on the screen as Edith Robertson [sic]. Burial will be in Hollywood.
