Doniann was born on Valentine's Day 1977, in Washington State, the fourth of six children born to Dean Adams and Patricia Hilton. Aptly named after a famous brother-and-sister singing duo by her good-humored father, she loved the uniqueness and attention it garnered her.

Doni grew up in Cheney, WA and graduated Cheney High School in 1994. After meeting a Sailor named Kent Marcantel in Hawaii and later again in Pensacola, FL, they married in 1996. As a Navy wife she lived in San Diego CA, Pensacola FL and Naples, Italy. She was a loving mother to two sons who treasured her home-made banana-nut bread, a cherished homemaker, and an ardent supporter of the Susan G Komen for the Cure foundation. She passed at home, peacefully in her sleep.

She leaves behind her sons: Noah and Levi; parents: Dean & Estella Adams and Patricia Hilton Adams; siblings: Randall Adams, Deanna Adams, Sallye Pack, Kinsey Bond, Susan Hijazi; and her former husband who will forever miss her. She was preceded in death by her sister, Kara Lee Adams.
