Mary K. (Kit) Kaufman, age 90 of Mountain Home, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2012 in Mountain Home. She was born May 4, 1921 in Colorado to Charles and Zora (Burns) Dana. She was a retired assembly line worker for Baxter Laboratories. She was the past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post #3246, and a member of the Unity Of The Ozarks Church of Midway.
She is survived by her daughters Kathy Sisney of Mountain Home and Sue Mayernik of St. Louis, Mo., a step daughter Dian Taylor of Antioch, Ill, a sister Grace Rasor of St. Louis, Mo., a daughter in law Robin Hewett of Midway, 14 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by her parents, her husband Roy Kaufman, sons Jack Miller and Dana Hewett, a sister Betty Trauth, and brothers Thornley and Pierce Dana.
A memorial service will be held at a later date for Mrs. Kaufman. Arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
