Ellen Cleon Carrell was born on October 21, 1925 to Cleon Olive Carrell and Charles Ely Walker and married Edgar Ronald Walker in 1944. They had 8 kids and were married for 35 years and live in Southern California.
Mom made everything beautiful as she had a talent for making, not that great, into wonderful. We always lived on a shoe-string budget and she would cook, clean and sew until everything around us was cheerful and happy.
She managed to make everyone feel loved and special. Christmas & birthdays would come around with 8 children, their spouses and 30 grandchildren she didn't seem to miss a beat in letting us all know we were loved.
At the age of 34 she was diagnosed with cancer and then again at 63. She was so full of life that after chemo we would go shopping. You wouldn't even know she was sick. Always a trooper during the rough times. At age 72 the dreaded disease took her from us. We miss you dearly and know you are watching over us. With Love Always...
