Stacey Rocheal Woods, 22, passed away Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009, at Capitol House Nursing and Rehabilitation in Baton Rouge. She was a 2009 graduate of Pine Ridge School, Walker. She was a bright spot in the hearts and lives of everyone she came in contact with. Stacey loved to listen to music and could always be found holding tightly to her "Big Bird." Her family and friends will miss her dearly. Visitation will be at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, on Tuesday, Oct. 20, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with the recitation of the rosary at 7 p.m. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Wednesday from noon until service at 2 p.m. Burial in Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery beside her father. Survived by her grandparents who raised and loved her as their own child, Sammy and Barcie Flores; half sisters and half brother, Barbara Jean Fox Sullivan, Jennifer Lynn Laturner and John Phillip Broussard; maternal great-grandmother, Gwendolyn Marcantel; as well as numerous aunts and uncles who were very dear to her. Preceded in death by her father, Thomas Ralph Woods; paternal great-grandfather, Thomas Cecil Dodd; and maternal grandparents, Dial and Catherine Johnson.
