Laura Victoria Holcomb was the daughter of James Madison Holcomb and Eliza Jane Hargrove. In 1880, the Holcomb family lived on a farm in Holleday Creek, Covington County, Mississippi, near the farm of the Isham and Mary Jane Bond family.
Laura married Albert Brown "Ab" Bond, and her younger sister Mary, married Albert's younger brother, Jefferson Davis "Dave" Bond.
By June of 1900, Albert and Laura BOND had been married 19 years and had six children: Viola, Anna, Carly (son), Sally, Lorena and Letty. They lived in Harrison County, MS, next to Laura's parents, J.M. and E.J. Holcomb.
Albert and Laura resided in McHenry, and later in Gulfport.
