She was a daughter to Howard and Ethyl (Walls) Ferguson. On Dec 23, 1945, she married Jack Mechling, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are a son, Larry (Patty Miller), Silver Lake; a sister, Lorraine Taylor, Lima; and seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Jerry; a daughter, Marsha; a grandson, Chad; a brother, Ron; and a sister, Ramona Perkins.
She had been a receptionist for Dr. Edwards and Dr. Biggs for several years. More recently she had been a baby sitter at Grace Community Church. She enjoyed bowling and spending time with family and friends.
Services are at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Shawnee Chapel, with Pastor John Heyward officiating.
