Phillip Gadberry, age 68, passed away on Friday, March 9, 2012 at his residence in Franklin. He was born on October 14, 1943 in Russell Springs, Kentucky to Millard and Ila (Holder) Gadberry. married Debbie (Barnett) Gadberry on March 25, 1988. She lovingly survives in Franklin. Phillip is also survived by daughter, Robbin Phillips of Science Hill, Kentucky; son, Scott Gadberry of Russell Springs, Kentucky; daughter, Christy LeGault of Junction City, Kentucky; son, Eric Gadberry of Franklin and daughter, Julie Gadberry of Franklin; grandchildren, Heather, Skylar, Casey, Shelby, Corey, Hayden, Josey, Jaden and one great-grandchild, Adeson and one brother, Joe Gadberry. He was preceded in passing by his parents, half-brothers, O.G. Kelsey and M.O. Kelsey and brother, Gary Gadberry. He attended school in Russell County. He was a heavy equipment operator for R & B Construction Company and Miller Pipeline, retiring in 2008. Phillip was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Franklin. He enjoyed watching Kentucky basketball and NASCAR racing and fishing. Phillip loved spending time with his family and friends and helping others. Pastor Fred Brown will conduct a service on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Friends may call on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
