Born in Notre-Dame de Pierreville, Quebec, she was the daughter of Juvenal and Alexina (Daigneault) Ally.
Sister Marie-Antoinette spent over 30 years teaching in primary grades in Rhode Island, New York and Massachusetts. Upon retiring from the classroom, she spent many hours visiting and comforting the sick and the homebound, helping in the sacristy, and being ever ready to render service where needed.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, May 19, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. in the Assumption Residence Chapel. Burial will be at the East Street Cemetery, Petersham. Calling hours at the Residence are Thursday, May 18, 2006 from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sisters of the Assumption Retirement Fund, P.O. Box 128, Petersham, MA 01366.
