Mrs. Aasland Forsyth Dies
FORSYTH, MT. ---- Funeral services for Mrs. Gerd E. Aasland , 45, who died Sunday night in a Billings Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Beals Mortuary.
The Rev. Norman Austin will officiate.
Burial will be in the Forsyth Cemetery, Forsyth, MT.
Mrs. Aasland, was a bank teller in Forsyth State Bank for many Years.
She was born at Porsgrunn, Norway, Aug. 19, 1920, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl J. Anderson.
She came to the US in 1927 and settled in Vananda, MT., with her parents.
Graduated from Ingomar High School.
She was married to Bruce Aasland on 10/20/1940 at Forsyth, and has resided here every since.
She was a member of Eastern Star, DeMolay Mothers Club and Federated Church.
Surviving are the widower, two sons, Ronald of Missoula, MT. and Jeffery at Home, father, Carl Anderson of Forsyth, MT., and sister Mrs. Margaret Curry of Stevensville, Newfoundland.
