He was born June 3, 1991, in Huejuquilla el alto Jalisco, Mexico. He was the third child of six born to Filiberto and Maria De La Luz Acuña, Daniel was a beloved son, brother, uncle and boyfriend. He was full of life. He never settled for less. Whether it was challenging himself to improve his technology devices or tearing up the basketball courts with his strategic moves, he was always trying to find different ways to better himself. He was always trying to push his limits. After accomplishing each goal he set for himself, he would always say, "Ha! I knew I could do this." He always had a positive outlook on life. He planned to return to his studies at College of Southern Idaho as a computer engineer in the summer session of 2012. He also had plans to marry the love of his life, Yesenia Martinez, in the summer of 2013. He had a very unique sense of humor. He always cared about others and put himself last. His family was always at the top of his priorities. He never turned down a plea for help. Whether it was a simple or major task, he always would lend his helping hand. He enjoyed reading fantasy books under a tree on warm summer days, especially the trilogy, "The Book of Shannara." He was an extremely hard worker. His unforgettable laughter will long be missed and will always be remembered. May you rest in peace, Daniel. We will always love you, and you will live in our hearts forever.
