Funeral services for Adrian E. Ford, 54, 414 W. Division street, who passed away Tuesday, Sept. 21, following an automobile accident, were conducted Thursday morning, Sept. 23, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic church. The Very Rev. John P. Foley officiated, assisted by the Rev. William McGrade and the Rev. George Rebiski. Burial was in Calvary cemetery. Pallbearers were Eugene McGrath, James E. McGuiness, Joseph Henry, Jesse Allard, Ray Gravlin, and Don Culhane. Attending the funeral from a distance were friends and relatives from Franklin, Morton, Bird Island, Olivia, St. Paul, Minneapolis, Cannon Falls, Morristown, New Prague, Lonsdale, and Chicago, Ill. Mr. Ford was born on March 5, 1900, at Franklin in Renville county, the son of John and Margaret Desmond Ford. He grew up in Franklin, learning the trade of a painter and carpenter. He was married to Margaret McFarland on Nov. 29, 1929 at Franklin. They lived in Renville county and later came to Faribault. He is survived by two daughters: Margaret M. Ford and Patricia A. Ford, and one son, John J. Ford, all of Faribault. Also surviving are a sister, Mary Ford, and two brothers: Bernard Ford and Joseph Ford, all of Franklin.
