Mrs. Cater was born March 10, 1940, in Chicot County, Ark. She was the daughter of the late Johnny and Bessie Wells Boyd. She was a retired caterer and also was retired from Air Cruisers. She was a member of Thompson Memorial Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Bethany Westbrook of Brookhaven, Darlene Bonner of Springfield, La., and Michelle McCabe of Denham Springs; one sister, Johnnie Louise Norris of Strong, Ark.; two brothers, John William Boyd of Strong and David Boyd of Greenville; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Colt Pittman, Kevin Trigleth, Ronald McCabe, Cole McKey, Danny J. Bonner Sr. and Danny J. Bonner Jr. Honorary pallbearer is Harry Burnell Cater.
