Robert F. Cook, 63, of Manito, Illinois passed away Monday, March 12, 2012 at Pekin Hospital.
He was born September 24, 1948 in Pekin, IL to Paul and Grace (Gray) Cook. Robert married Donna Ranney on May 4, 1974 in Pekin, IL.
Surviving is his wife Donna; daughters, Jodi Schauwecker and Pam Eldert; step-daughter: Dawn Ward; step-son, Kevin McLean; ten grandchildren; five great- grandchildren; brothers, Greg Cook and Randy Cook; niece, Tricia (Corey) Pettie and several other nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Robert P. Cook.
Robert worked for Caterpillar as a heat treat operator in East Peoria, IL retiring in 2000. Most recently Robert worked for Midwest Linens as a delivery driver. Robert belonged to the Tremont Sportsmen’s Club and the Wilmington Beagle Club. His hobbies included hunting, raising beagles, and spending time with his family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday March 15, 2012 at Davison-Fulton-Woolsey Funeral Home in Pekin, IL. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday. Cremation rites will be accorded. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
