STOUGHTON - Ruby J. Juve, age 92, passed away at Skaalen Home in Stoughton on Monday, March 12, 2012.
She was born in Deerfield on Feb. 17, 1920, a daughter of Irvin and Lydia (Furseth) Christianson. Ruby married Roger Jacobson on June 17, 1938. He preceded her in death in 1981. Ruby married Abner Juve on July 14, 1984, who preceded her in death on Feb. 22, 2001. She worked as a nurse's aide at Stoughton Hospital for 20 years. She was a member of Covenant Lutheran Church. Ruby loved to cook, watch baseball, knit, garden and play cards. She enjoyed visiting her grandchildren very much.
Ruby is survived by a daughter, Darlene (Bob) Eddingsaas of Rochester, Minn.; son-in-law, Duane Kleven; grandchildren, Kurt Kleven, Kent (Tina) Jacobson, Kim (Mark) Ball, Kari (Troy) Gregoire, Julie (Mark) Vahlsing, Jill (Brian) Zimmer and Janelle (Michael) Smith; grandson-in-law, Dennis Jones; many great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; a sister, Vivian Barfknecht; and a brother, Arlo (Lucy) Christianson.
In addition to her parents, and two husbands, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Ramona Kleven; a son, David Jacobson; a granddaughter, Charlotte Jones; and two brothers, Leonard and Claire Christianson.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 18, 2012, at COVENANT LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1525 N. Van Buren St., Stoughton, with the Rev. George Carlson officiating. Burial will follow at Eastside Cemetery in Stoughton. The family will greet friends on Saturday, March 17, 2012, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the CRESS FUNERAL HOME in Stoughton, and again at church on Sunday from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Cancer Society.
