Erlinda (Linda) Burch, 66, of Waynesville, MO, passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at 3:50 p.m. MT in Sky Ridge Medical Center, Lone Tree, CO.

Linda was born and attended school in Tacloban, Leyte, Philippines, until moving to Manila, then to Subic Bay where she completed her studies. She immigrated to the United States in March, 1988. After settling in San Francisco, she aspired to work in the medical field so she studied Medical Office Management and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Bryman College in 1989.

Linda enjoyed playing card games and mah jhong, worked as a hospice nurse at Aunt Ann's Agency of San Francisco for several years. Linda was also a homemaker who loved her family dearly and was devoted to their needs.

Linda and Edward H. Burch, Jr. were united in marriage on April 12, 1973 in Olongapo City, Philippines. To this union one daughter, Teresa Christine, was born. Together they were privileged to share 28 years.

Edward preceded her in death May 28, 1996. Also preceding her were her parents, Cristeta and Rodrigo Esperas, Sr.; eight of her siblings and several cousins.

Interment was at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, October 11th, at Golden Gate National Cemetery, San Bruno, CA.
