Bobbie was born February 15, 1949, to Bobbie L. and Betty A. (Cain) Bumpas in Arkansas City, KS. She was reared and educated in Arkansas City graduating from Ark City High School in 1967. After high school Bobbie attended Cowley County Community College.
Bobbie worked as a supervisor at the Winfield State Hospital from 1967 to 1986. She was member of the American Legion Auxiliary, and a member of the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church. On her free time Bobbie enjoyed cooking and baking. She especially liked baking pies and cakes.
Survivors include her brothers, Steven Bumpas of Arkansas City, KS; Duane Cain and wife Gwendolyn of Muskogee, OK; sister, Kay Brown and husband Willie of Arkansas City, KS; nephews, Brock A. Brown of Arkansas City, KS; Timothy J. Brown of Radcliff, KY; nieces, Samantha and Ebony Cain, and great niece, Samara Cain all of Muskogee, OK.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents.
