Funeral services for Harry J. Golden, 54, were held at the Immaculate Conception church at 9 a. m. on Wednesday, August 8. The Rev. Henry LeMay officiated at the service, and burial was at Calvary cemetery. Death occurred August 5. Pallbearers were Herbert Winkley, Leo Bruley, Donald Fitzsimmons, F. F. Schuck, T. N. Simonsen, and Ed Thibodeau. Military rites were conducted by Rice county post 1562, Veterans of Foreign Wars. Mr. Golden was born August 28, 1896, at Prior Lake. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Survivors include his wife, Magniheld; two daughters, Mary Jane Golden and Mrs. Darrel Thibodeau (Catherine); a son, Patrick; six grandchildren; five brothers, William of Minneapolis, Charles of St. Paul, Thomas of Walla Walla, Washington, and Frank and James of Faribault; and two sisters.
