Edna was born in 1920 in Marion, Kansas to her parents, Wesley George and Lydia Ehrlich Kraft. She had four older brothers, Walter, Clinton, and the twins Ralph and Roy Kraft. She grew up in Wasco, California before attending college at Biola. After college she married Rev. R. Eugene Cro w in 1945 and then served as a pastor's wife in churches in both Inglewood California and Twin Falls, Idaho. While her husband held American Baptist denominational positions in Utah, Southern California and later in Pennsylvania, she was active in her local churches in Salt Lake City, 1st Baptist Covina, Ca and 1st Baptist Norristown, Pa. Edna lived at Atherton Baptist Homes in Alhambra since 1989 where she has been active as a chaplain, in music groups and at her church, 1st Baptist Alhambra.
Edna was a talented musician who sang, led choral groups and played several instruments.
Edna was preceded in death by her eldest son, Kenneth E. Crow, her husband Dr. R. Eugene Crow and her grandson, Kenneth M. Freibott.
Edna is survived by one brother, Dr. Ralph Kraft, her children and their spouses, Len and Kathleen Freibott of Alta Loma and Walter and Audrey Crow of Scituate, Ma. Edna is also survived by 3 grandchildren: Leonard Freibott, III and wife Melissa, Kevin Freibott and wife Jennifer, Kenneth's wife L aura Freibott, and her only granddaughter Lisa K. Freibott. Edna is survived by 6 great-grandchildren: Nathan, Nicholas, Amethyst, Elijah, Chloe and Liam Freibott.
