E. Pauline Shirk, 91, of Landis Homes, formerly of Leola, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 28, 2011 following an illness. She was the daughter of the late William and Alma B. Koehler Koser. She was the wife of the late Harold S. Shirk who died in March of 2002. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse first at Aierstuck Nursing Home; then Maple Farm Nursing Center; and lastly worked for 23 years at Lancashire Hall. She was a member of Calvary Church, Lancaster. Pauline enjoyed crocheting, cooking, gardening and especially spending time with her family. She is survived by four children; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one sister. She was preceded in death by a brother, John Koser.
