Robert Felix Gunnoe,I, was born on November 28, 1886 and was married to Hazel Mae Hurt. I am not sure of the date. They had five wonderful chidlren together. The first was Hester Hortense Phillpott (Gunnoe)who was married to James Alexander Phillpott. The second child was Freida Hazel Thompson (Gunnoe) who was married to Buel Elmer Thompson. Freida is still living in Beckley, West Virginia. The third child, my great grandfather, was Robert Felix Gunnoe. He was married two times. The first woman was Marie Louise McKinney and the second woman, who was married also before, was Bessie Kathleen Linkous. Bessie was married to a Griffith before Robert Gunnoe. The fourth child was Gloria Emogene Stafford (Gunnoe) who was married to Ray Connsil Stafford. As far as I know, Emogene is still living. The last child was Danny Joseph Gunnoe who was married to Ruth Marie Sorensen. I know for a fact that both of them are still living in Raleigh County, West Virginia. I believe they live some where in Beckley. Robert Felix Gunnoe, I, died on September 1, 1964.
