Cyrus W. Cooper, seventy-two years old, died Wednesday evening at six-forty o'clock, at his home on East State Street, following a two weeks illness.
Mr. Cooper was well known in Olean having resided here the last twenty-seven years. He was born in Eldred July 1, 1855. Mr. Cooper was an active member of the Trinity Methodist Episcopal Church.
Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Juna M. Cooper; one daughter, Mrs. Ward Alger, Olean; one sister, Mrs. Emily Cooper, Bolivar.
Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
