Zorka Berger, age 92, of Rockford, IL died at 7:20 p.m. Monday, March 12, 2012, in Alpine Fireside Health Center.
Born May 20, 1919, in Bovey, MN, daughter of Mike and Sophie (nee Revoier) Dotlich. Married Kenneth J. Berger on April 2, 1942, in Grand Rapids, MN; he died June 22, 1983. Member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, where she volunteered with the Mission Society and Altar Guild. Also, volunteered with numerous organizations in the area, receiving several awards.
Survivors include sons, Jerry, Michael (Mable) and Dave Berger; daughter, Diane Benjamin; grandchildren, Dale, Troy (Lisa), Darcy (Casey), Dion, Jon (Su), Rick, Jamie, Tammy, Jason (Jenna) and Eva; great-grandchildren, Clayton, Caleb, Cody, Olivia, Jackson, Andrew, Allison and Connor; brothers, Mirko, Stephen, George, Donald and David; and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by brother, Marko; and sisters, Sophie and Sylvia.
Service at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 17, in Delehanty Funeral Home Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from 9:30 a.m. to service time; the Rev. Frank Ciprys will officiate. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
