She is survived by one son, Reginald Nelson, Baltimore; two daughters, Janet Nelson-Douglas of Baltimore, Maryland, and Anita Nelson-Sherron of Woodbridge, Virginia; one daughter-in-law, Sandra Nelson; two sons-in-law, Charles Douglas and Lee Sherron; seven grandchildren, Latoya and Alexander Sherron, David and Jennae Cofield, Charles Douglas Jr. and Shannon and Shelby Nelson; her sister, Barbara Jones, Baltimore, Md.; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
They all share, in part, moments of Pearl's life and their love for her is bound in their hearts.
The funeral service for Mrs. Nelson will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2012, at 11 a.m. at the Historical First African Baptist Church with the Rev. Timothy Lee as eulogist. The Rev. E. Charles Lee is the pastor. Burial will be in the Eastside Cemetery. James R. Barnes Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
