She can be found on the 1900 US Census for Columbia, Richland, SC as a 19 year old, born Feb 1891 (which is in error and should read 1881), living with her parents John H and Lillian Bollin (along with her sister Georgia, who is buried beside her).
Found in The State 19 May 1907: The sad news was received in Columbia yesterday of the death inJacksonville, Miss., of Mrs. Lillian Bollin Ellison, wife of David Gaillard Ellison and eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John H. Bollin of this city. She had been very ill for about four weeks and while at times there have been hopes of her recovery, for the last few days the end has seemed inevitable and only a matter of time. Mrs. Ellison, as Miss Lillian Bollin, was until her marriage two years ago one of Columbia's most popular and most charming young women-loved by a wide circle of relatives and friends for her unusual charms of manner and of disposition, her depth of character and sweetness of nature. Her marriage to Mr. Ellison, who up to a few months before had been a Columbia boy, connected with the Virginia-Carolina Chemical company, is still fresh in the minds of many as one of the happiest events of that spring season-and her two visits home since then are bright memories in the hearts of her friends. He mother has been with her all during her illness and Mr. Bollin has been at her bedside during the greater part of the past four weeks and was there at the end as was Mrs. George Waring, who left for Jackson last Tuesday. The remains will be brought to Columbia and the funeral service will be held at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Bollin Tuesday morning at 10:30 o'clock.
