[William] Harvey is the son of Harriett Anderson and unknown father (non-marital event). He married first Julia Carpenter (1882-1904) daughter of Wilson Carpenter and Elizabeth Ammons. They had one son together in 1903. After Julia's death in 1904, Harvey married Ruthey Jane (Hyde) Panther/Painter in 1905, and they had a son and three daughters. At Harvey's death he had two sons, three daughters, and two step-daughters living (Panther/Painter daughters of Jane. One other step-daughter died in 1935).

Note: His middle name is spelled Harvie on the death certificate and Harvey on the stone.
