R. Stroh is Taken by Death Service Friday

Richard Stroh, 76, passed away on Monday night at a Fremont Hospital, where he had been a patient since July 26. He had
been ill but a short time, and failed to rally from surgery earlier in the day.

Born March 14, 1887 at Scribner, he had spent his entire life in this community. He is survived by a daughter, Virginia Carlson of Hooper; a son, Marlyn of Fremont; four grandchildren, and one brother, Henry of Missoula, Mont.

The services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Redeemer Church, with the Rev. G. Van Boening conducting the service. Interment will be in the Hooper Cemetery with Wollmer & Warne in charge.
