STINNETT - Services for Winnie Roby, 82, of 232 Williams, are pending with Alexander Funeral Directors of Stinnett.

Mrs. Roby died at 6:40 a.m. today in North Plains Hospital.

A native of Jonah, Texas, Mrs. Roby had been a Stinnett resident for 51 years. She was an employee of Stinnett Independent School District cafeteria.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene A. Roby in 1954; and two daughters, Lela Ann Roby in 1948 and Marjorie Helen Sever in 1973.

Mrs. Roby is survived by a son, Jimmy Eugene Roby of Dumas; a daughter, Mrs. Joyce Jean Price of Stinnett; three sisters, Mrs. Maude Porter of Jacksboro, Mrs. Dollie Box of Hobbs, N.M. and Mrs. Lena Partain of Abilene; a brother, Vernon Northcutt of Lefors; nine grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.

Services for Winnie A. Roby, 82, of 232 Williams, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ivan Allen, pastor of the White Deer First United Methodist Church, and the Rev. John Decker, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Pampa by Alexander Funeral Directors of Stinnett.

Mrs. Roby died at 6:40 a.m. Monday in North Plains Hospital.

A native of Jonah, Mrs. Roby moved to the Stinnett area in 1931 from Archer City. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She had worked for the Stinnett Independent School District in the cafeteria.

Mrs. Roby was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene, in 1954; two daughters, Lela Ann Roby in 1948, and Marjorie Helen Sever in 1973.

Survivors include a son, Jimmy Eugene of Dumas; one daughter, Mrs. Joyce Jean Price of Stinnett; three sisters, Mrs. Maude Porter of Jacksboro, Mrs. Dollie Box of Hobbs, N.M., and Mrs. Lena Partain of Abilene; one brother, Vernon Northcott of Lefors; 9 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Dennis Sever, Ronnie Price, C.H. Price, Tracy Roby, Bill Daves, and Arlen Marion.

Winnie was one of the nine children all born in Williamson County, Texas to Robert Hosea Northcott an Maude Martha Blanton-Northcott.
