Funeral Rites to Be Tuesday Afternoon, Burial at Elmwood
Mrs. B. B. Daggett, 68, died at a local hospital at 6:15 o'clock Thursday afternoon, following a long illness. She had been a resident of Mason City for the past 40 years.
Mrs. Daggett was born Emma C. Brown near Dover, Minn., March 15, 1872. She was married to Bradford B. Daggett, Oct. 22, 1936, at Des Moines. She was a past noble grand of the Rebekah lodge and a member of the First Methodist church.
Surviving Mrs. Daggett are her husband, B. B. Daggett, 227 First street northwest; one sister Mrs. George Deertz, Mason City; one brother, August Brown, Rochester, Minn. and three nephews, Arthur, Henry and Russell Deertz, Mason City.
Funeral services will be held at the chapel of the McAuley and Son funeral home at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, with the Rev. C. E. Flynn, pastor of the First Methodist church, in charge. Burial will be in the Elmwood cemetery. The body will lie in state at the funeral home until the time of services.
Members of the Rebekah lodge will attend the services in a body and will hold a service at the chapel following the regular service.
