Mrs. Abelina Frank, 91, of 3910 Ironton St., resident of Beaumont for 25 years, died at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday at Sabine Oaks after an illness of two weeks. A native of Germany, Mrs. Frank came to this country at the age of 6 on a small ship which docked at Galveston. Her family settled near Brenham, where she lived most of her life. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Survivors include five sons, Edward Frank of Doniphan, Mo., Earl Frank of Independence, Tex., Emanuel Frank of Victoria, Eldron Frank of Galveston, and Ellis R. Frank of Beaumont; three daughters, Mrs. T.J. Smith of Independence, Mrs. Estella Newman of Stockton, Calif., and Mrs. I.W. Smith of Beaumont, 27 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Roberts and Pipkin-Brulin Chapel with the Rev. C.A. Woytek, pastor of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
