OBITUARY:MARY A. ENGEMAN, 1926-1999. Mary A. (Fahey) Engeman, 72, Wathena, died Tuesday, May 11, 1999, at her home.Mrs. Engeman was a food supervisor at the Wathena School until retiring in 1985.She was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 5531 Auxiliary and American Legion Post No. 161 Auxiliary, all of Wathena.
On Oct. 1, 1950, she married Lloyd Engeman in Troy. He survives of the home.
Mrs. Engeman was preceded in death by her father, Tom Fahey; her mother, Jennie Fahey Taylor, and her stepfather, Richard Taylor.
Additional survivors: a daughter, Linda Prater, Lawrence, Kan., a sister, Catherine Studer, Wathena; two grandchildren; and two great-grand children. Services: 10:30 A.M. Thursday, Harman-Rohde Funeral Home, Wathena. Burial: Mount Olive Cemetery, Troy. Visitation: after noon today at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight.
