Obituary: WALTER ENGEMANN. Walter Engemann, 73, Wathena, a brother of Frank Engemann, Troy, died Monday morning at a St. Joseph hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday at Harman Funeral Home, Wathena. Mr. Engemann was a member of the Wathena United Methodist Church, the Masonic Lodge No. 64, AF & AM and the American Legion Post No. 161. He was a veteran of World War ll, having served as a staff sergeant. A lifelong resident of Wathena, he was a retired warehouseman for the St. Joseph Builder Supply Co. Survivors include his wife, Margaret Engemann, of the home, one son, Geary Engemann, Wathena; three sisters, Frieda Reinert, Mary Ramsel, and Dorothy Schuman, all of Wathena; four brothers, Wilbur Engemann and Emmett Engemann, all of Wathena, and Frank Engemann, Troy; three grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
