Marvin was the son of Lillian Belle (Taylor) and Cecil Bryant Jeffries.

He joined the U.S. Air Force Dec 14, 1966 and was discharged on Dec 09, 1970.

He was an employee of Supersweet Feeds of Minneapolis, MN and was killed in an Auto Accident on icy roads. Marvin was single at the time of his death, and would have been 39 if he had lived another 31 days.

Marvin was survived by his Mother, Lillian Belle Taylor Jeffries, four sisters: Lavade Jewell Jeffries Steed, Glenna M Jeffries Todd,Mary Elizabeth Jeffries Waters, Elsie A. Jeffries Lane and three brothers: William C. "Billy" Jeffries, Charles R Jeffries, and Garrell Dewain ("Tuddy") Jeffries. He was preceded in death by his Father, Cecil Bryant Jeffries, and a brother, S/Sgt Garland B. Jeffries.

Visitation was held from 9:00am to 9:00pm on Saturday, December 20, 1980 at Winn Funeral Home Chapel, 210 Maple Avenue in Horse Cave, KY . Funeral Service was held at 2:00pm on Sunday, December 21, 1980, with Rev. Raymond Kenny officiating. Interment was at Horse Cave Cemetery, Horse Cave, KY.
