Dorothy was born in Memphis, Tennessee and moved to California with her parents and 2 brothers when she was 7. She married Joe Jertberg who was from a long time Chino/Ontario family in 1950 and raised their children in their home on Philadelphia St.
Joe passed away in April 2006. They had 5 children together who succeed them with 17 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She treasured her 34 family members and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with them. They, in turn, greatly loved their grandma and G.G. She will be sorely missed by all whose lives she touched.
A memorial service will be held in her honor today, March 20th at 2pm at St. Margaret Mary's Catholic Church, 12686 Central Ave., Chino. Internment to follow at Bellevue Cemetery, 1240 West G St., Ontario.
