Jacob Wawro, 65, of 159 Ostrander Ave. died Wednesday in a local nursing home.
Mr. Wawro was formerly employed at Swifts Meat Packing Co.
A communicant of Sacred Heart Church, he was a member of the church's Father's Club and its Holy Name Society.
Surviving are three daughters, Lottie Perrigo of Liverpool, Stella Randall of Syracuse and Charlotte Snyder of Michigan; a son, Edward Wawro of Michigan; 18 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 8 a.m. Saturday at Bordynski-Hollis Funeral Home and at 8:45 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, with burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today (Nov. 11).
