She was united in marriage to Lewis (Lucias) Simpson Averill March 25, 1890 (1891). To this union sixteen (sic) [fifteen] children were born.
Her parents, sister, brother, husband and seven (sic) [six] children preceded her in death.
Jane was survived by five daughters and four sons, Virginia Jones, Numa, Iowa, Margaret Morton, Pectonica, Ill. (Illinois). Gladys Brabec, San Francisco, Calif., Orpha Curtis, Seymour, Iowa, and Genevieve Glur Grand Island, Nebr., Arnold, Ranchester, Wyo., Bert, Rockford, Ill., Rex, Hastings, Nebr., and Edgar of Harvard, Nebr.
Also 27 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. She lived here in the Harvard community all her (married) life except for a few years at Princeton, Ill. She was a member of good standing in the Olive Branch Rebekah Lodge No. 16.
