RITES TODAY FOR WARREN ANGLE, PIONEER RESIDENT
Funeral services for Warren Angle, 77, who died in his home here Tuesday night from a heart attack, will be conducted in the Whitehurst Chapel this morning at 10:30 o'clock. Interment will be made in the Dos Palos Cemetery.
Warren Ezra Angle was born on March 3, 1873, and came to this community in 1905. During the early days he was a building constructor and also served as city treasurer for eight years, and until recently was an insurance agent and notary public. He had been confined to his home for several months before his death.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Annetta, who died on July 13, 1947, and one daughter, Mrs. Margaret Moniz.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Lucy Buck of Mendocino, Ms. Eleanor Palmer of Callistoga, Mrs. Jean Smith of Richmond and Mrs. Aileen Cain of Burlingame; five sons, Raymond, William, John, and Vernon of Dos Palos and Carson of Firebaugh; two brothers, Carson Angle of Palo Alto and Henry Angle of Denver, Colo. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
