CHILTON, Wis. -- Mrs. Jennie Aebischer, 73, 24 W. Grand street, died at 11:30 Monday evening at the home of her son, John, in Madison, where she had been visiting. Mrs. Aebischer had been ill for three weeks.
She was born in the town Brothertown on March 23, 1878, and married the late Charles Aebischer on June 20, 1900. She lived in the town of Charlestown for 42 years, and was a member of the Ebenezer Evangelical and Reformed church, the Women's Guild, the Women's Relief corps and the Master Farmer's association.
Three sons, Gordon and Denton of the town of Charlestown and John of Madison survive, with a brother Otto Heller of the town of Brothertown, a sister, Mrs. Herman Steinmetz of the town of Chilton, and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Evangelical and Reformed church. The Rev. Orval Egbert will officiate and burial will be in the Hillside cemetery. Friends may call at the Erbe-Hoffmann Funeral home from Wednesday noon until 11 o'clock Thursday morning, then at the church until the time of services.
