Mrs. Lydia H. Weber, sixty-one, wife of Isaac W. Weber, died at her home in Blue Ball, at 3:45 a.m. Monday, after a long illness of a complication of diseases. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran church, New Holland. Mrs. Weber was awarded third prize of $100 in a national quilt contest in 1932. Thousands of quilts from all over the country were displayed at the contest held in Washington, D.C. Mrs. Weber's quilt was chosen from fifty local quilts exhibited here for which she was awarded $50. Besides her husband she is survived by a son, Lloyd, of Wilmington R. D. 2; and a step-daughter, Elsie, wife of Ivo Brenneman Blue Ball; and these brothers and sisters: Mrs. Jonas Martin, East Earl R.D. 1; Elam Martin, Blue Ball; Mrs. Frank Z. Martin, East Earl R.D. 1; Mrs. Frank M. Stauffer, Miss Martha Martin, and Mrs. Francis Weaver, all of Blue Ball; Mrs. Aaron Stauffer, New Holland R.D. 1; Edwin Martin, East Earl R.D. 1; and Moses Martin, New Holland R.D. 2.
