She was the daughter of Nathaniel Jefferson & Nancy (Horton) Parris
She married Noah H. Parris, 24 June 1849, Paulding Co., GA
They raised a large family, the eldest four were born in Georgia and then they moved to Fayette County, Alabama. On the 1900 census she said she had 15 children, 6 still living.
