"Dudley Clarent Palmer"

"Dudley Clarent Palmer, 69, a resident of 4816 30 1/2 St., Gulfport, died at 8:25 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Hospital at Gulfport. Born July 24, 1906, in Wayne County, Ind., he had been on the Coast since 1950 and was the owner operator of a furniture repair business on 28th Street. He was a member of St. John Catholic Church and the Gulfport Moose Lodge. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Julia B. Palmer; a son, Louis D. Palmer, both of Gulfport; a daughter, Mrs. James (Mary) Underhill of Tucson, Ariz.; a brother, Ray D. Palmer of Highland, Ind.; a sister, Mrs. Lois Culy of Richmond, Ind.; and nine grandchildren. Friends may call a Lang Funeral Home in Gulfport from 6 to 10 p.m. Wednesday. A Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. in the chapel. The funeral service will be held at Lang Funeral Home at 9:45 a.m. Thursday followed by a 10 a.m. Mass from St. John Catholic Church with Msgr. Michael Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Gardens Cemetery."
