William Truman Hines, 92, of Rancho Mirage, CA, passed away August 8, 2007 in Rancho Mirage of natural causes. He was born July 9, 1915, to Orie Ross Hines and Ruby Clara Gentry in Eastland, TX. He married Lela Frank Greer on November 30, 1939. He founded and headed H&H Distributors in Seattle, WA, for 25 years. He was also an Eagle Scout. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1944-1955 as a Lieutenant. He is survived by his sons, William G. Hines of Hailey, ID, and Richard G. Hines of Medina, WA; granddaughter Greer Taylor Hines of Medina, WA; grandson Bradford Truman Hines of Hailey, ID; and sister Geraldine Parker of Alamagordo, NM. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lela Frank Hines. Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 14, 2007 in the Ramon Chapel at Forest Lawn Mortuary, Cathedral City, CA with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Mausoleum. Forest Lawn Cathedral City is in charge of arrangements.
