Everett"Bud" Thomas Acor Jr., 79, of Idaho Falls, passed away, March 24, 2012 at his home. He was under the care of Hearts for Hospice.

Everett was born June 27, 1932 in Yuba City, California to Everett Thomas Acor Sr. and Mary Annie Ellsworth Acor. He lived in the Yuba City and Concord area for his early years before moving to Idaho where he attended Shelley and Hamer Elementary schools. He graduated from Roberts High School and attended Rick's College and Utah State University.

He married Ruth Eyleen Pearson on March 8, 1957 in Idaho Falls.

He worked as a farmer and owned Acor Equipment here in Idaho Falls, where he especially enjoyed visiting with friends and customers. He worked as a chemist at INEL for Westinghouse.

Everett was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served as a Counselor in the Young Men's, a High Priest Group leader ,and on the High Council. He served a Stake mission and a mission for the South West Indian Mission in New Mexico.

Everett enjoyed farming and working with livestock. He also enjoyed playing basketball.

He is survived by his wife Ruth of Idaho Falls;

Daughter, LeAnne (Craig) Smith of Afton, WY;
Daughter, Michelle (Gene) Warren of Freedom, WY;

Daughter, Ruth Ann (Mathew) Rasband of Manuel, TX;
Son, Clyde P. Acor of Rigby, ID;
Son, Kevin T.(Tiffany) Acor of Nampa, ID;
Brother Larry (DeAnn) Acor of Idaho Falls, ID;
Brother, Daryl (Mary Jo)Acor of Provo, UT;
Sister, Shirley (Paul)Kelly, of Provo, UT;
Sister, Mary Ann (Russell)Ritchie of Mesa, Az
38 Grandchildren and 23 Great Grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Clyde.

Funeral services will be 1 :00 p.m. Friday, March 30 at the Lincoln LDS Church (3700 E. Lincoln Road) with President Robert Peterson of the Fallsbrook Branch officiating. The family will visit with friends 7:00-8:30 p.m. Thursday, March 29 at Wood Funeral Home East Side (963 S. Ammon Rd.) and from 12:00-12:45 p.m. prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in Annis Little Butte Cemetery.
