Ada Lucille was born July 5, 1906 near Comanche, Stephens County, Oklahoma Territory, where her father was farming across the river from her mother's family home in Henrietta, TX. Ada came to Arizona by train at age 6 months and lived in Phoenix, rural (west) Phoenix and Jerome, where her father worked as a copper miner.

Graduating from Phoenix Union High School at age 16, in 1923, she briefly moved to Los Angeles, where she was married to Lin William Moore on Sept 30, 1923.

Ada & Lin lived in Phoenix as well as maintaining their homestead and adjoining cattle ranch, the X2, east of Pinnacle Peak in what is now north Scottsdale. Raising 2 daughters, Elaine & Dorothy (James), Ada was a life-long member of the First Church of God in Phoenix and a founding member of the Westside Church of God.

Ada passed way in Phoenix in October 6, 1996 and was survived by her daughters, 4 grandchildren & 10 great-grandchildren.
