Mr. and Mrs. E. Dudley Fain were called to Lexington, Ky., Tuesday evening by a message stating that Mr. Fain's father, Rev. Conrad C. Fain, had been killed near there. Mr. Fain was driving to one of his farms near Lexington when the automobile in which he was riding was struck by an interurban car and he died in a few minutes.
Mr. Fain was well known in Decatur. He had visited here frequently and liked the city so well he often said he was almost tempted to come here to live. He had been minister of the Methodist church for forty years. He is survived by his wife and four sons and two daughters. Dudley Fain is automobile mechanic for Moran & Sons.
