Born in Pulaski County, he was retired from Blue Bird Body Company and an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict and an expert rifleman. Survivors include wife, Josephine Ammons Myers (22 Dec 1942-31 Dec 2020) of Byron; daughters, Tammy, Audrey Ann, Donna Marie and Wanda; son, Willie ; sister, Lucy Stacey (Mike); brothers, Danny Myers, Russell Myers, Harold Myers (Jerry) and Alton Myers (Brenda); nine grandchildren. -He was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Myrtice Myers and brothers, James Myers and Wayne Myers. -The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Monday, May 3, 2004 at Rooks Funeral Home in Byron.
