Services for Mr. J.C. Allums Jr., 73, of Bossier City will be held Monday August 22 at Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel. Officiating will be the Rev. James Adams, pastor of First United Methodist Church in Bossier. Burial will be in Centuries Memorial Park.
He died Saturday, August 20, 1983 at his residence following a brief illness. A native of Alden Bridge La., he had resided in Bossier City for most of his life. He was a retired printer with Newspaper Production Co., a member of the International Typographical Union, and member of the First United Methodist Church of Bossier City.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Pauline G. Allums of Bossier City; one son, Gary Allums of Hurst Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Gale Livingston and Clair A. Marang of Bossier City; one sister, Mrs. Eunice Aycock of Bossier City; two brothers, Milton Allums of Shreveport and Thomas Allums of Los Angeles Calif.; seven grandchildren and a number of other relatives.
