Robert D. Weekley, 79, of 126 Riverwood Ct., and formerly of Upper Marlboro, Md., died Tuesday, March 13, 2012. Mr. Weekley retired from the Intelligence Community as a Security Officer in 1986.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 7, 2012 at 11 a.m. in Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Elizabeth City. Inurnment will follow in Fort Lincoln Cemetery in Brentwood, Md. at a later date. Miller & Van Essendelft, Funeral and Cremation Providers, 1125 Harvey Point Road, Hertford, is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation, Gift Processing Center, P.O. Box 5018, Hagerstown, MD 21741-5018.
